Our room had it's own bathroom/shower, and they were very clean. I was happy. I was thinking about how much better this place was than the hotel we stayed in in New Orleans..

Notre Dame cathedral at night--we ran through the streets of paris (me in heels like an idiot) trying to locate at jazz club, unsuccessfully, on the first night.

We spent many hours in JFK airport waiting for our flight. Here at the airport bar we enjoyed some delicious beer and made a lot of friends with people who had just returned from trips abroad. They had lots of tips on where to visit in Spain, and the tips about Seville came in handy later on.

The plane boarded at JFK, and it was hot and sweaty with little air circulation. Soon enough we were told the AC wasn't working and to sit tight for 45 min. Shortly after that they let us off the plane while they fixed it. Thank god, we were dying of suffucation..
